RMD – Precise round machining for industrial applications
The RMD rounding machine was specially developed for the precise production of disks and cylinders. Withthis machine, we offer a high-performance solution in the field of cylindrical grinding / rounding. The RMD100 machine can be offered with a 45° grinding spindle arrangement and cup wheel or with a conventional parallel grinding spindle arrangement of the grinding spindle and an external cylindrical grinding wheel with a diameter of 250 mm. The machine is used in the prefabrication of precision optics and in the manufacture of cylindrical lenses or in the manufacture of sapphire crystals for the watch industry. The workpieces are clamped between the two driven workpiece spindles for processing, either cemented or uncemented.
